Progress is the most powerful force in the world. Growth is promising a better life for millions of people across the globe. Businesses are pioneering new connections between economies. New elites are becoming global citizens. The brightest and the best can see the opportunities that all this represents. They want an employer that shares their ambition and excitement for the future. And can connect them to the people and places to make it happen.

INSPIRED BY PROGRESS

This is an authentic description of HSBC's approach to connecting the world; the strategy of going where the growth is... ...but it's expressed in such a way that is particularly motivating to our audiences, because they too are inspired by progress. They are inspired by the changes and opportunities they see in the world around them, and by the opportunities that lie ahead for them to fulfil their ambitions. So this becomes a promise to graduates: that at HSBC they will be connected to inspiring developments and opportunities around the world; and that they will be able to grow and develop an inspiring career at HSBC.

HOW DO WE TALK TO GRADUATES ABOUT 'INSPIRED BY PROGRESS'?

WE INSPIRE THEM ABOUT A POTENTIAL FUTURE WITH HSBC

WITH AN ONLINE TOOL THAT HELPS THEM DISCOVER THE KIND OF CAREER PROGRESS THEY COULD MAKE AT HSBC.

Start off exploring graduate roles – hearing first-hand from people who have recently joined the bank. Within each video, you'll hear from real HSBC people about their role, what inspires them and the career progress that has helped them reach their current position.

As well as watching videos, talk live to key members of staff in pre-arranged online group video conferences. This is a great chance for people to have a dialogue with HSBC about the things that really matter to them. But it's also an opportunity for candidates to hear from the most compelling advocates of all: real HSBC employees.

From each video you watch, you can explore further, connected roles – whether they are promotions to a more senior position or interesting 'sideways' moves that have allowed people to broaden their skills in inspiring new ways.

As you explore, you build up a rich picture of the variety of roles in the bank. You experience the diversity of HSBC personnel – the truly global team that works here. And you're inspired by the opportunities for progress – not just 'up through the ranks', but around the bank in interesting and unexpected roles.

AND WE'LL INVITE THEM TO SHARE IN OUR INSPIRING VISION
